Timothy D. Jackman serves as Senior Vice President of Operational Services for Missouri Employers Mutual. In this role, he has direct accountability for Customer Service, Safety and Risk Services, Claims and CompLegal, and also helps set corporate strategy.
Jackman joined MEM in 1995 as General Claims Manager and became a member of the Executive Team as Vice President of Claims in 1997. Under his leadership, the Claims Department was recognized as ‘Best in Class’ claim operations for several years as rated by outside independent claims consultants. In his time at MEM, Jackman led the formation of a captive law firm to represent MEM policyholders, along with a reorganization of a managed care program aimed at facilitating a safe and successful return to work for injured workers. Under his leadership, the company culture has increased its safety commitment, helping employers save lives and improve the profitability of their operation.
Prior to MEM, Jackman worked for 14 years with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, serving in various positions in multiline claims management. He holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO. He has also continued his education through insurance and management seminars and working with an executive coach.
Jackman is currently a member of the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds, the Board of Trustees for Central Methodist University, the Risk Management Insurance Advisory Board at the Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri-Columbia, the Lincoln Public School Memorial Committee, and the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of the Columbia Area. He is the coordinator of the Annual Juneteenth Celebration in Fayette.
