Timothy D. Jackman is the President and CEO of Previsor Insurance, who provides workers compensation coverage in a six-state area and partners with Missouri Employers Mutual to support policyholders with multistate workers compensation needs. In this role, he represents Previsor with key stakeholders, oversees operations and is responsible for strategic execution. He transitioned from Interim President and CEO of the company in November 2020 and has served on the Previsor Board of Directors since 2016.
Prior to Previsor, Jackman worked at MEM, beginning in 1995 as General Claims Manager and taking on the role of Vice President of Claims in 1997. Under his leadership, the department was recognized as ‘Best in Class’ claims operations for several years, as rated by outside independent claims consultants.
During his time at MEM, Jackman also served as Senior Vice President of Operational Services where he had direct accountability for Customer Care, Safety and Risk Services, Claims, and CompLegal, and helped set corporate strategy. In this role he had many successes such as the formation of a captive law firm, the reorganization of a managed care program, and a company culture that increased its safety commitment.
Prior to MEM, Jackman worked with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for 14 years, serving in various positions in multiline claims management. He holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO. He has also continued his education through insurance and management seminars and working with an executive coach.
Jackman is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for Central Methodist University, the Lincoln Public School Memorial Committee, the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of the Columbia Area, the Board of Trustees of Missouri Annual Conference of United Methodist, the Board of Commercial Trust Company and the Fayette Rotary Club. He is also the Chair of the Fayette Together Social Justice Project and the coordinator of the Annual Juneteenth Celebration, both in Fayette, MO.
