If you ask an employee what they love about working at MEM, there’s a good chance they’ll mention our Corporate Impact program. We understand the importance of giving back to our communities with time and resources.

2018 was a busy year for our Safety Fanatics! We gave to 118 organizations across the state. More than 60 percent of employees volunteered their time, and employees donated more than $88,000 out of their own pockets to charitable causes.

Here are some of the highlights:

1. United Way

MEM’s generous employees helped us remain a Heart of Missouri United Way Pacesetter. Our field offices also pledged a combined $9,183 for their own United Way chapters.

2. #GivingTuesday

MEM recognized 20 organizations on #GivingTuesday by giving approximately $55,000 to CoMoGives participants and other Missouri nonprofits, including Meals on Wheels.
