May 11, 2018 • Missouri Employers Mutual

The Safety Fanatics at MEM awarded the company’s fourth round of safety grants in May 2018.

To date, MEM has awarded a total of 86 policyholders with nearly $800,000 in safety grants, and plans to give away a total of at least $1 million in order to improve workplace safety.

“Controlling claims in order to control costs is a smart way for businesses to ensure everyone can go home to their families at the end of the workday, and that’s what this program is all about,” said Jim Owen, President and CEO of MEM. “We continually make investments in business so the cost of safety initiatives doesn’t get in the way of protecting employees on the job. We don’t want funding to stand in the way of saving lives.”
