Tim Myers has been selected as a Top Chief Information Security Officer by Cyber Defense magazine. Myers joins a list of 150 security professionals nationwide selected for the honor among more than 2,700 applicants. He serves as the Manager of Information Technology Security & Operations at Missouri Employers Mutual.
Awardees are selected for their ability to be innovative and successful in communicating, detecting, and stopping breaches and data loss, complying with regulations and building powerful risk reduction programs for their organizations.
Myers will accept the honor at the 11th Annual Cyber Defense Awards in Orlando on Oct. 26, 2023.
“Our successes and growth in the security space can be credited to Tim’s vision and leadership,” Kevin Miller, MEM Chief Operating Officer said. “We are proud to have him in this vital role at MEM.”
At MEM, Myers is responsible for all areas connected with computer operations including data center and network and server engineering, security, asset management, service desk, telecommunications and third-party vendor management. He has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology field. He joined MEM in 2017 having most recently served in leadership roles in network engineering at CARFAX and at MBS Textbook Exchange. He also spent more than 20 years in numerous engineering and information technology roles at Ameren.
