Safety: Partnering to Improve Workplaces
MEM’s Safety and Risk Services (SRS) team impacts more than 7,000 lives each year with training and services.
That is one of the reasons Rhonda Kauffman, a Safety and Risk Specialist in industrial hygiene, and Senior Consultant Brad Minor were contacted to evaluate the ventilation and dust exposure in the mixing room at a renowned food manufacturer. Swift action and tailored solutions revealed a 50 percent reduction in dust levels.
Compassion: Making an Impact in the Communities We Serve
With over 4,400 volunteer hours available and 70 percent of employees volunteering, MEM and its employees give time or treasure to more than 100 different organizations annually.

Service: Celebrating 30 Years with MEM, a Workshop’s Safety Record Thrives
Through long-term partnerships built on putting safety first, Valley Industries has found that year after year, a work comp policy with MEM provides the most value for their organization.
One of Missouri’s 92 sheltered workshops, Valley has been a policyholder since MEM’s early days. Their commitment to safety has paid off with a lower e-mod and premiums over time. While we’re thrilled to see their success, the real story is their daily dedication to prioritizing a safe work environment.
