Roger Walleck joined MEM in 2017 and serves as Vice President of Underwriting. Walleck provides executive leadership to the Underwriting Department and directs the company’s book of business. He manages agency and policyholder relationships to maximize company profitability and customer service. He also develops MEM’s business by leveraging advanced technologies and data analytics, and ensures strategic alignment between the home office and field underwriters.
Prior to MEM, Walleck spent more than a decade in leadership positions at Meadowbrook Insurance Group, most recently as Chief Underwriting Officer and Executive Vice President. In this role, he set underwriting appetite, tolerance and limits for carriers of the group. He also oversaw all underwriting activities and the development of predictive analytic models. Walleck held several positions with Liberty Mutual before joining Meadowbrook.
Walleck has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University. He holds several professional designations, including Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Insurance Services.
