MEM Names New Members to Agents’ Advisory Council

Missouri Employers Mutual would like to announce the appointment of five members to its Agents’ Advisory Council:

Shane Davolt

Davolt is CEO of GM Peters Agency in Liberty, Missouri. Davolt has more than 22 years of experience in the insurance industry and has been an agency owner since 1999. He is a past member of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents Board of Directors and a past board member and President of the Liberty Economic Development Corporation. Davolt currently serves as President of the Liberty Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and of Freedom House, a non-profit serving five charities in the Liberty community. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Liberty Schools Building Pride Campaign.

Darren Freese

Freese is Commercial Account Executive with Winter-Dent Insurance Agency in Columbia, Missouri. Freese has more than 17 years of experience in the insurance industry beginning his career as a field employee with State Farm in 2005 and then transitioning to Winter-Dent in 2010. His focus is working with producers on new client opportunities as well as ongoing renewals. He holds designations as a Certified Work Comp Advisor (CWCA) as well as a Master Work Comp Advisor (MWCA) from the Institute of Work Comp Professionals. Freese is an active member of Boy Scouts of America Troup 4 in Columbia and is a past Chairman of the Troup 4 committee and registered as an Assistant Scout Master. He also is a past board member of Winter-Dent’s Charitably Giving Board and is a current member of the Winter Dent’s Communication Committee.

Nick Lee

Lee is Vice President of Sales and Market Development with Cline Wood in Leawood, Kansas, a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC. Lee has more than 12 years of experience in the insurance industry joining Cline Wood in 2010 after serving with Lockton Affinity in Overland Park.

 

Kyane Marble

Marble is Commercial Account Manager with Hawkins Harrison Insurance in Edina, Missouri. She has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry having served Hawkins Harrison since 1992. Marble currently serves as President of the Knox County High School Athletic Booster Club and the Knox County Cancer Association. She is a past Chair of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) MACC Summit Planning and Government Relations Committees and is also past a member of the Young Agents Committee as well as 2008 recipient of the MAIA Agent of the Year Award (2008).

Brent Westhoven

Westoven is President of Beimdiek Insurance in Carthage, Missouri. Westoven has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry and joined Beimdiek Insurance in 2012 assuming the role of President in 2018. He leads the agency’s day-to-day operations and sales, and his focus is strategic risk management in the nonprofit and manufacturing industries. Westoven holds designations as a Professional Workers Compensation Advisor (PWCA) and Certified Benefits and Wellness Advisor.

Together, the newest group of appointees brings more than 91 years of insurance industry experience to the council. MEM writes exclusively through a network of more than 850 independent agents. The Agents Advisory Council is a group of 17 producers who bring issues to the table on producers’ behalf and advise MEM on different marketing strategies. All agents will serve four-year terms on the council.
