MEM’s Jennifer Barth was recently spotlighted in Modern Counsel, a publication and network of today’s most influential legal minds.
Barth joined MEM in 2005 as HR manager. Over time, she took on more legal responsibilities, ultimately becoming vice president and general counsel. In this role, she’s responsible for leading and counseling the company on a broad range of legal and compliance matters including corporate governance, regulatory compliance and risk management. She also oversees Human Resources and Facilities.
Facing the challenges of 2020
As general counsel at MEM, Barth leads our business continuity planning team. This group has recently risen to the occasion by responding quickly and effectively to the COVID-19 pandemic. The team’s planning and actions have helped MEM provide uninterrupted service and clear communication to our policyholders, producer partners and other stakeholders during this time.
